Students of the Business Administration and Accounting Departments at the University receive practical training in the Finance Office in Taiz

As part of Al-Ataa University for Science and Technology’s efforts to develop the skills of its students and provide them with the necessary practical experience, students from the Department of Accounting and Business Administration made a field visit to the Finance Office in the governorate as part of the practical training program that includes public finance applications and financial and tax legislation. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the practical aspects of public finance management and how to apply financial and tax laws and legislation in practice. The students also learned about the work mechanism of the various departments within the Finance Office, including the General Budget Department, the Tax Collection Department, and the preparation of financial reports. Dr. Muhammad Al-Azani – Anid, College of Administrative and Human Sciences, course instructor and supervisor of the visit program, confirmed that this visit comes within the department’s plan to link the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect, which contributes to preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market. For their part, the students expressed their happiness with this experience, noting that it helped them gain a deeper understanding of how to apply the theories studied in the lectures on the ground. They also praised the great cooperation from the Finance Office staff who provided a comprehensive explanation of the nature of their work and the procedures followed in managing public funds. It is worth noting that the Department of Accounting and Business Administration is keen to periodically organize field visits and training programs for students in cooperation with governmental and private institutions to ensure that they receive a comprehensive and integrated educational experience. #Al-Ataa University for Science and Technology #Broad Horizons with a New Vision Al-Ataa Media | Monday 13/1/2025
